2018 Oral Health Education Program
Love Teeth Day 2018 (Kennedy Town)
Date: 1 December, 2018 (Saturday)
Venue: Activity Room 3 & 4, Kennedy Town Community Complex, Hong Kong
The event held was co-organized by the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong and suppported by the district council member Mr. Cheung Kwok Kwan, Chan Hok Fung and Yeung Hoi Wing. Free oral health screening was provided to 86 adults and 46 children. Some of the adults also had an extraction on the mobile dental bus on that day. Flouride treatment has been provided to most of the children. There were totally 300 people participated in the event.
Love Teeth Day 2018 (Ap Lei Chau Estate)
Date: 27 October, 2018 (Saturday)
Venue: Ap Lei Chau Estate, Hong Kong Island
The event held was co-organized by the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong and suppported by the district council member Ms. Lam Yuk Chun. Free oral health screening was provided to 121 adults and 56 children. Some of the adults also had an extraction and scaling on the mobile dental bus on that day. Flouride treatment has been provided to most of the children. There were totally 800 people participated in the event.
Love Teeth Day 2018 (Chak On Estate)
Date: 22 September, 2018 (Saturday)
Venue: Chak On Estate, Shamshuipo
The event is funded by Shamshuipo District Council to provide free oral health screening, oral health talk and health consultation to the residents. A total of 42 people conducted a free oral health screening, of which 10 of them had a on-site scaling on the mobile dental bus. 141 people participated in the oral health talk.

The content of the event included award presentation to winners of Smiley Action Poster Design Competition & Smiley Action Ambassador Scheme, oral health screening and education, free Chinese medicine consultation, eye health education, general health education and game booths.
Jockey Club Smiley Action Programme - Smiley Action Day

Jockey Club Smiley Action Programme is an event funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in 2016 aimed to provide oral health education in the community. Smiley Action Day is one of the activities of the programme.
Smiley Action Day held on 14 April was co-organized by the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong and suppported by the district council member Ms. Leung Yuen Ting. Free oral health screening was provided to 148 adults and 126 children. Some of the adults also had an extraction and scaling on the mobile dental bus on that day. Flouride treatment has been provided to most of the children. There were totally 800 people participated in the event. Some people were referred to our dental clinics for complicated treatment, such as surgical extraction and dentures, under the dental treatment sponsorship programme funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Free oral health screening was provided to 159 adults and 111 children. Some of the adults also had an extraction and scaling on the mobile dental bus on that day. Flouride treatment has been provided to most of the children. There were totally 1200 people participated in the event. Some people were referred to our dental clinics for complicated treatment, such as surgical extraction and dentures, under the dental treatment sponsorship programme funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
